Membership categories, 2018-19

For experienced rowers and those who have just completed a Learn to Row, the Club offers different membership options.

We have a number of different squads training at TRC, to suit both male and female senior and masters crews training for competition or socially.

If you are new to the sport of rowing and would like to start, the Club runs Learn to Row courses. Provisional membership is the next step following completion of one of our Learn to Row programs.

Membership renewals are due each year by the 1 August. Payments by installments will be considered in extenuating circumstances. To apply for consideration of terms of payment, please contact the Treasurer.

Payment by bank transfer to the Torrens Rowing Club Rural Bank account is preferred.

Please note that access to boats, the gym and ergos will be withheld if payment and form submission are not made by the due date.

Sports Voucher is an initiative from the Office for Recreation and Sport that allows children up to year 7 to receive up to a $50 discount on sports membership/registration fees. To receive the discount, please download and fill out the form on the Sports Voucher website and return to the Treasurer at the time of registration.

Rowing SA fees

Rowing SA competitor registration fees are set each year by Rowing SA and must be paid by members before competing at SA or interstate regattas. These fees are not included in the above membership fees. If applicable, you will be invoiced separately by the Club for Rowing SA fees. Please contact your coach or the Captain if you have any queries.

Rowing SA competitor registration fees vary from $30 for single regattas to over $200 for a full season registration. Please refer to the Rowing SA website for current fees.
