Torrens Rowing Club runs both Senior and Junior Learn to Row programs throughout the year. 

Senior Learn to Row

The final class of 2019
The program is run over four sessions on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12 midday. No previous experience is necessary. On water training is conducted on the Torrens Lake, just north of Adelaide’s CBD.
The minimum age for these courses is 18 years and the cost is $120. This includes a TRC cap or visor of your choice.  Participants need to be able to swim 50 metres in light clothing and be at ease in the water.

The next Learn to Row sessions for 2020 are planned for
20 September, 27 September, 4 October and 11 October

After completing the Learn to Row program,  participants have the option to continue with the club with a 3 month provisional membership. After the provisional period, full membership can follow with a range of squad training sessions for those who would like to compete and those who enjoy the activity for fitness and recreation. The Learn to Row courses are designed for adult learning and provide a relaxed, professional and friendly environment.
 

Junior Learn to Row

Junior Learn to RowFor younger people from the age of 13 to 18, we provide safe, supervised and friendly Junior Learn to Row programs.
The cost is $120. This includes a TRC cap. Participants need to be able to swim 50 metres in light clothing and be at ease in the water.
The program is run over four sessions on Saturday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. No previous experience is necessary. On water training is conducted on the Torrens Lake, just north of Adelaide’s CBD.
The minimum age for these courses is 13 years. We are starting these sessions on week 1 of Term 4 2020.
