Torrens Rowing Club runs both Senior and Junior Learn to Row programs throughout the year. 

Senior Learn to Row

This popular program is run over four sessions on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12 midday. No previous experience is necessary. On water training is conducted on the Torrens Lake, just north of Adelaide’s CBD.
The minimum age for these courses is 18 years and the cost is $120. This includes a TRC cap.
Participants need to be able to swim 50 metres in light clothing and be at ease in the water.

The next Learn to Row sessions are planned for:
2021 – 2 May, 16 May (skipping Mother’s Day), 23 May and 30 May

After completing the Learn to Row program,  participants have the option to continue with the club with a 3 month provisional membership. After the provisional period, full membership can follow with a range of squad training sessions for those who would like to compete and those who enjoy the activity for fitness and recreation. The Learn to Row courses are designed for adult learning and provide a relaxed, professional and friendly environment.
 

Junior Learn to Row


Junior Learn to RowFor younger people from the age of 14 to 18, we provide safe, supervised and friendly Junior Learn to Row programs.
The cost is $170 and includes a TRC cap.
The next program will commence Early 2021. Each course has only 12 students allowing for optimum tuition between students and coaches.
It will run over 6 weeks with 2 sessions per week – Mondays, 4pm to 6pm and Sundays, 7am to 9am. This course is run from the TRC City shed, Victoria Drive, just north of the CBD (next to Jolly’s Restaurant).
Participants need to be able to swim 50 metres in light clothing and be at ease in the water. No previous experience is necessary.
